Eating healthy food and keeping fit is obviously good, and dieting is a means to that end.
But what about people who take it too far and end up with eating disorders? _________________ reproduction-paintings.com |

| I don't understand why people like that aren't ill. They can't possibly be getting all the nutrients they need, and aren't they bored senseless by the sameness? |

My next door neighbour has a friend with a 10 year old daughter. She went to the dentist, the first time in years, and had a really bad time there.
Now she is refusing to eat anything that she perceives as damaging to her teeth, as she's scared of going to the dentist again. She's got the whole thing out of proportion and is refusing most foods. Needless to say she is loosing weight, and heading for disaster. Her mother is at her wits end. Neither she nor the doctors have so far been able to get through to the girl.
Funny how these things start isn't it? _________________ petmedscenter.com |

I think it must be, what child in their right mind doesn't want food? _________________ petmedscenter.com |
